It’s snowing, which makes the phones ring with folks interested in outdoor winter fun. There is a lot happening in the region including a variety of Valentine’s Day specials at area hotels and restaurants. Phil Vassar will be performing February 13th at The Sherman Theater followed by an Evening with Lotus on Valentine’s Day. Winter is in full swing in the Poconos.

We had a dusting of snow last night and the sun has just emerged to a beautiful day in the Poconos. Predictions for snow on Friday will make snowtubing even more fun over the weekend. Family tubing is now open and so is the Tiny Tot area. It is fun to play in the snow. For snowtubing packages go to fernwoodhotel.com

The main snowtubing single-hill is set to open tomorrow just in time for the holiday. With the persistent cold weather lately we’ve been able to enhance what mother nature left us this past weekend by making our own snow.
