Just like that winter ended and the snowtubing park closed for the season. Now, we want golf to begin and that is scheduled for the first week of April. Until then, there is still plenty of skiing in the Poconos at Shawnee and Camelback Mountain Resort. In fact, Camelback is hosting the carboard box derby and pond skimming competitions this weekend. Also, this weekend the World Tavern Poker Championships are hosted in Fernwood’s Astor Room. The event is open to all players if you want to try your hand at poker.

As the fall season begins to tighten its’ grip on the Pocono Mountains we at the Fernwood Hotel & Resort are in transition.
